This course is a good starting point for anyone wishing to start a career in forestry and arboriculture (tree surgery). The course introduces the skills and knowledge needed to pursue a range of careers from technician level through to management.

This 3 day course is run by Ted Wilson and focuses on early-stage transformation of conifer plantations to continuous cover forestry. It is designed to provide an introduction to the theory of CCF and the practical steps involved in starting the transformation of a planted stand.
