This is a great opportunity to work alongside the forest craftspeople and beat teams in Grizesdale Forest, gaining practical experience whilst following a structured training programme. You will contribute to practical operations - creating, maintaining, and harvesting forests as part of the UK timber industry. Alongside this you will be trained to obtain the necessary and training and awards to achieve the Level 3 Forest Craftsperson Apprenticeship. This is a fixed term contract for 2 years.
