Come and join us in the Miterdale Valley for a day of practical conservation activities in the great outdoors. Volunteer days are open to all, and are a wonderful way to learn about the Lake District, nature, and conservation. All tools and teaching is provided. Activities include removing non-native trees, planting native trees, removing old tree tubes, and maintaining planted trees. There are also occasional opportunities to get involved in surveying or drystone walling.
