Overview

Horticulturalist / Gardening Apprentice We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is looking to pursue a career in horticulture and has a proven interest in plants. You will work under our head gardener, maintaining and developing the gardens which are constantly evolving. You will also help with our organic vegetable garden which grows vegetables to serve our restaurant. We have an extensive range of plants and one of the biggest selections in the country so this is a great opportunity for someone wanting to learn! You will learn all aspects of horticulture including propagation. Our well known and award winning gardens have raised over £50,000 for various charities and are open to the public two afternoons per week during the summer. The apprenticeship will be offered in conjunction with Myerscough college and will be 100% work based however you will be required to attend college on occasional days to complete training courses.
