With Cumbria being such a rural county, there is much demand for professional advice, and a qualification in rural land management can lead to a number of different employment opportunities.

We have two local associations covering our region, Northumbria & Cumbria, and Lancashire, with many employers in our area offering work placement opportunities and apprenticeships.

Did you know LANSS Manager, Tracey Jackson, is a qualified Agricultural Valuer and would be happy to speak with you about courses and the type of work an agricultural valuer delivers, so do contact the office if you have any questions, or would like assistance finding a work placement or apprenticeship opportunity.
