We were delighted to have the opportunity to meet with many members of our farming community. We were particularly pleased to see a big turnout in the young handlers classes across all the show categories.
There were also over 120 trade stands in attendance highlighting the latest in innovation, products, and technology in the sector. We chatted to businesses about their employee and skills needs and whether they can offer work experience or apprenticeships.
We were also interested to listen in to the "Land Hungry, People Hungry; Can we feed the future?" seminar chaired by Scott Donaldson of the H&H group.
