Myerscough College offers you the opportunity to study a T-Level in Tree and Woodland Management (Arboriculture), to develop a comprehensive understanding of Arboriculture encompassing practical techniques, academic knowledge and technical skills. It is a popular option for both school leavers and successful Level 2 Technical Certificate students.
Myerscough College has a proud and successful 126-year history of delivering land- based qualifications. The Preston campus is the home of the National Centre for Arboriculture, which houses a purpose built indoor climbing room and chainsaw workshop. The centre is stocked with all major manufacture chainsaws including Stihl, Husqvarna, and Echo; including both petrol and electric chainsaws.We also have an arboretum featuring the national collection of Aesculus.sp (Horse Chestnut) trees and an adjacent Pinetum which contains two magnificent examples of Giant Redwood amongst other coniferous trees.
