

This T level specialism will prepare you for working with the technology and machinery that keeps modern agriculture running. You will learn a range of vehicle and machinery engineering skills for the agricultural sector, which can also be transferable to other branches of engineering. Topics that you will cover include: Transmission systems Hydraulic and mechanical engineering systems Vehicle mechanics, covering steering, braking and suspension systems Electrical and electronics in vehicles and machinery Scientific laws and the science behind engineering concepts All in the context of agricultural engineering equipment and tools for the industry.
Entry requirements for all T Levels will be a minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 (including Maths, English Language and Science). T-Levels are available for 16 to 19-year-old students. They are also available to students up to the age of 24 who have an Education, Health and Care Plan. Applicants are expected to show a strong commitment to the industry and ideally, have some practical work experience working with agricultural sector prior to starting the course.
