Outdoor Learning Leads plan and deliver structured learning experiences in outdoor settings, helping people build knowledge, confidence and practical skills through contact with nature. They may work with schools, community groups, colleges, visitor sites or environmental organisations, using outdoor spaces to support learning, wellbeing and engagement.
The role often includes session planning, risk assessment, activity leadership, curriculum links, safeguarding and supporting different learners' needs. It suits people who enjoy communication, organisation and helping others connect with landscapes, wildlife and the outdoors in meaningful ways.
