If yes, this traineeship could be a great fit for you. We’re looking for a Youth Engagement Trainee to join our friendly Access and Engagement Team. You’ll help deliver inspiring activities that support young people, particularly those who face barriers, to access, explore and connect with the Yorkshire Dales. You’ll work closely with the Access and Engagement Project Officer to plan and deliver engaging sessions for young people, both in their local communities and across the National Park. You’ll also contribute to wider projects led by the Access and Engagement Team. This traineeship will help you build valuable skills and experience for a future in outdoor learning, youth work, or community engagement. We’ll support you to shape your development around your interests and career aspirations.
This post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Access to transport to meet travel demands of the post is essential, as you will be required to travel within the Park. We’re looking for someone who is:

We’re looking to build a small team of in-field survey volunteers for our Hedges & Edges Project, in five target areas - The Eamont Catchment, River Petteril Catchment, Eden Lower Catchment, Upper Lune Catchment, and Greta and Rawthey Catchment.
