

The post will deliver our new farming programme, based on the curriculum along with outreach events and activities to communities in WCRT’s catchments, promoting the work of WCRT and inspiring young people and communities along the way. The sessions are linked to WCRT’s Education Strategy with a focus on the deprived communities of the west coast.The successful candidate will have at least 2 years experience in delivering environmental education sessions and events within schools or other relevant settings. You will be a self-starter who can demonstrate effective and sympathetic communication with a broad section of society, particularly working with children from disadvantaged backgrounds.You will be based at the Trust’s office in Keswick and will involve travel between schools and groups around West Cumbria. Some weekend and evening working will be required, for which time off in lieu will be awarded.
