We’re looking to build a small team of in-field survey volunteers for our Hedges & Edges Project, in five target areas - The Eamont Catchment, River Petteril Catchment, Eden Lower Catchment, Upper Lune Catchment, and Greta and Rawthey Catchment.

You will be spending the morning learning how to survey hedgerows and ID tree and plant species within the hedge. You’ll also learn the difference between a good and bad hedgerow, and their wildlife and livestock benefits. This training is mandatory if you want to take part in our Hedges & Edges…
