The Land + Nature Skills Service (LANSS) will officially launch at the Westmorland County Show (Crooklands), on Wednesday 11th and Thursday 12th September, 2024.

We are really excited to be at this significant stage. There is great support for LANSS and it is the positive collaboration across the sector that has got us to this point!
Through their commitment to supporting net zero and developing skills for the jobs of the future, the City & Guilds Foundation offer bursaries for qualifications which would support careers in skills shortage areas such as agriculture, equine, floristry, environment, countryside and conservation.
LANSS were pleased to attend the UK’s largest autumn livestock showcase where we had sponsored the sheep ring. We enjoyed meeting with many members of our farming community and those businesses which support them.
