Preparation For Farriery

This course will welcome students to the Myerscough College campus near Preston and require students to engage in a range of practical and theory sessions to help develop their basic practical skills, equine skills, knowledge of safe working practices, and ultimately decide if this is the right career choice for them.During the 2-week course, a session will be scheduled with some Approved Training Farriers (ATFs) who may be looking to employ an apprentice farrier, so introductions can be made and plans potentially made for trials in the workplace.
