This qualification is for those wishing to gain some understanding and practical experience of the variety of trades in the Construction industry. This course will offer you an excellent foundation in various general construction subjects, such as Basic Carpentry and Joinery, Plumbing, Tiling and Brickwork. You will cover the theory behind trades as well as practical skills. You will also develop knowledge skills in health and safety in the workplace, and construction technology.
This qualification is assessed by building a photographic portfolio of practical work that you have undertaken and completed and a Health and Safety assessment workbook.
