This resource has been developed to support woodland owners and managers to better understand and be able to implement the requirements, best practice and guidance set out in the UK Forestry Standard, and how these support sustainable woodland management. The UK Forestry Standard is a document that relates to the whole of the UK, however, in this course our examples are all England based. This does not mean they are not relevant in Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland but that the legislation and guidance mentioned may be different in the other nations.
