Overview

This Level 3 Diploma is the perfect gateway into the exciting Travel & Tourism industry. It is a great choice if you are looking for an exciting role which could take you around the world. You will gain an insight into all relevant sectors of the industry and our expert tutors will teach you the necessary skills to prepare you for life in the profession. You will be assessed via a range of methods, including projects, assignments, presentations, and role plays. s part of the course you will have opportunities to visit different areas within the travel and tourism industry to gain an insight into practices and life in the sector. Previous trips have been included holiday park visits, cruise terminal tours, chill factor, tour operator office tours, and more. You will join in a variety of team-building activities during your course, both on and off campus. Industry experts will come to campus as guest speakers and share their knowledge and experience with you so you are prepared for working within travel and tourism. A variety of guest speakers will visit, including Jet2holidays who host a career session and share an insiders’ view of the company’s recruitment process which will give you a better idea of how to research and apply for roles on the company’s website.

The course is delivered over a 35-week programme and contains 7 core units as well as English or Maths if necessary.
