Soil health can be defined as the continued capacity of soil to function as a vital living ecosystem that sustains plants, animals, and humans. This Hub has been designed to help you navigate the various steps involved in improving soil health on your farm; from taking a soil sample to the many ways of assessing soil type and texture, practices that promote soil health, focusing on carbon, and seeing what farmers are doing in their fields to improve soil health and therefore the overall health of the environment and their farm businesses.
The hub brings together a wide range of resources giving opportunities to explore different approaches and pick up practical guidance.
