Please note that this is an Apprenticeship Programme and applicants must be employed (or about to commence employment) within a veterinary practice. There are no full-time course options in Veterinary Nursing for students looking to start at college directly having finished Year 11 at school. Students normally either follow the apprenticeship route (described below), having secured a job in the workplace or consider a Level 3 vocational option (often in Animal Studies or Equine Studies here at Myerscough) or an A Level route at Sixth Form and then progress to the university-level Foundation Degree in Veterinary Nursing (more details on our www.ucmyerscough.ac.uk website.)
