Aimed at people who would like to gain confidence and experience a variety of craft, this course will be based from our boathouse on the stunning shores of Windermere. Day 1: Get ready for a hands-on introduction to a range of exciting watersports! You'll have the chance to try out open canoes, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and sit-on-top kayaks. Our experienced instructors will guide you through the basics of each craft, ensuring you feel comfortable and confident on the water. Day 2: Take your newfound skills to the next level! You'll learn how to plan for a journey on Windermere, taking into account weather conditions, navigation, and safety considerations. Then, put your plan into action and enjoy a rewarding paddling adventure on the lake.
This course is perfect for individuals, families, and groups of friends who want to try something new and have fun on the water. All equipment is provided, so just bring your sense of adventure and a willingness to learn!
