Introduction to Watersports for NovicesGain new skills and experience a variety of watersports with Ghyll Head's 2-day Introduction to Watersports course. Aimed at people who would like to gain confidence and experience a variety of craft, this course will be based from our boathouse on the stunning shores of Windermere. Day 1: Get ready for a hands-on introduction to a range of exciting watersports! You'll have the chance to try out open canoes, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and sit-on-top kayaks. Our experienced instructors will guide you through the basics of each craft, ensuring you feel comfortable and confident on the water. Day 2: Take your newfound skills to the next level! You'll learn how to plan for a journey on Windermere, taking into account weather conditions, navigation, and safety considerations. Then, put your plan into action and enjoy a rewarding paddling adventure on the lake.
