

Advanced Carpentry & Joinery, Level 3. Carpentry & Joinery encompasses both site-carpentry and architectural-joinery, with learners completing this apprenticeship choosing to study one of these options. This apprenticeship is suitable for those who have completed Carpentry & Joinery, Level 2 and now have responsibility for managing their own and other peoples work, as well as carrying out complex and often bespoke work.
Entry Requirements: Ideally, learners should hold 5 GCSEs at grade (4-9) including English and Maths, have completed Carpentry & Joinery, Level 2 and be employed for thirty hours a week or more.
You will typically spend 4 days per week in a workplace setting with one day per week in college. With construction trades we tend to work this out as a block release, so you spend a a couple of weeks with an employer, then a week in college.
